Over 1,000 communications industry experts are expected to gather for the eighth World Public Relations Forum (WPRF) in Madrid this September.
This international event is being organised by The Global Alliance, a confederation of the world’s major PR and communication management associations and institutions, in collaboration with Dircom, the Spanish association of communication directors.
The WPRF, is a biennial event that was last held in Melbourne (Australia) in 2012. It has become a unique opportunity for both communication practitioners and academics from all over the world to debate and reflect upon the future of public relations and communication.
For this year’s event Ketchum Spain has been asked by Dircom to develop the Forum’s communication and sponsorship campaign, supported by its international network to enhance and position the event worldwide.
Experts from across the globe have been invited to take part in the event which runs from 21 to 23 September 2014 with a theme of “Communication with Conscience”.
Many other professionals have shown their support in video messages posted on the Forum’s social network sites including Daniel Tisch and José Manuel Velasco, Chairmen of the WPRF 2014, and Anne Gregory, Chair of The Global Alliance.
The event, due to take place at the Palacio de Congresos of Madrid, will include the following topics: ‘Deconstructing communication’, ‘Transforming communication’, ‘Leadership through communication’ and ‘Taking action through communication with conscience’.
Delegates can register on the WPRF’s website where the conference agenda, list of confirmed speakers and related news are also available.
