At Ketchum, we believe it's good business to develop great people.
Ketchum’s dedication to employee learning continues to translate into value for our employees and our clients. The more refined our communications practitioners become in their approach, the more fresh, inspired and effective the client programs they create will be. We believe that employee learning is an investment worth making, and we continue to raise the bar we have set as the industry leader in this category. Through our corporate learning program, Ketchum University, the agency retains and invests in the industry’s best talent by providing learning and development courses ranging from unconscious bias to social media listening and tools that help employees grow professionally and achieve great results for our clients.

Ketchum’s Global Mentorship Program

Break Through Advisory Board
The 10-member Break Through Advisory Board consists of five women and five men from all across the globe. Advisory Board members are tapped to tackle specific issues raised by leadership and generate ideas to address immediate and future needs and opportunities. Members of the board are selected from all levels and areas of the agency through an open application process.
The Advisory Board is charged with challenging, provoking and inspiring new ways of doing business, while advising on the latest trends and emerging technology including new content platforms, products and services, collaboration opportunities and thought leadership.
Ketchum’s Global Scholars Program
The Ketchum Global Scholar Program is an extraordinary opportunity for colleagues from around Ketchum’s global network to export and import expertise, knowledge and insights across Ketchum’s offices. Ketchum invests annually in the Global Scholars Program, which allows a selection of individuals to travel and work in another office and experience the work environment, culture and practices, as well as develop networks and relationships that are mutually beneficial for the individual and our clients.
Recognized as one of the preeminent training experiences among global communications firms, Camp Ketchum is designed to teach our company’s next generation of leaders’ cutting-edge thinking in our profession, to engage them in a real world competitive experience and to reinforce our culture of collaboration.
Employee Competitions That Foster Innovative Thinking At All Levels
At Ketchum, we build a culture of entrepreneurship and strive to get colleagues across the globe engaged in building new products, services and talent offerings to create the agency of the future. We know that Ketchum is home to many budding entrepreneurs who have been waiting for a platform to submit their game-changing ideas to the agency.
Modeled after popular TV shows like Shark Tank and Dragons’ Den, Spark Tank is an opportunity for our employees to submit a break through pitch for how Ketchum can advance its vision to become the world's most valued agency. Submissions are reviewed by judges from across the network, and finalists are invited to come to New York and present their business proposals to a panel of Sharks.
Creativity and innovation are at the core of who we are, which is why we created the Cannes Contest. The Cannes Contest, invites colleagues to propose why they should attend the festival and how they would bring their learnings back to the agency. The winners get to attend Cannes. Check out what a recent winner had to say about the contest and her experience at Cannes….
"I've always been proud to be a Ketchumite, but after winning Rob’s Ticket to Cannes contest, that pride shot up to another level. Our mission was to create unique, scrappy content and break through at the World’s Largest Creativity Festival and that’s exactly what we did. The amount of collaboration that came from our team of delegates was crazy inspiring. We took on everything from panel live-tweets and strategic brainstorms to Young Marketers Competition coverage and media outreach. I could not be more thankful - to Rob for entrusting me with this adventure, to the Cannes Delegates for helping me create incredibly fun content, to my teams who shared our Cannes findings with clients and to the Corp Comms team for putting the muscle behind the preparation (You couldn’t imagine the horsepower that goes behind the production of Ketchum at Cannes.)" - Myreete Wolford
