At Ketchum Brussels we’re currently looking for a Job Student – Media Monitoring Executive (1,5h/d) that is passionate about communications and wants to be part of a diverse and multinational team.

YOUR MISSION

Media monitoring includes the process you use to monitor what is being said about a brand, industry, competitors, and specified topics and includes online media coverage and social media. You will be responsible for monitoring the local and international media coverage for our clients, thereby providing valuable insights for the development of communication strategies.

This position requires a daily commitment of 1,5 hours per day, in the morning.

 

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

+ Monitor the news in Belgian and international media for articles that mention our clients

+ Assess and identify news items of importance and relevance to our clients

+ Prepare a daily bulletin with news, including summary of key messages

+ Deliver these activities in a timely manner under the direction of the team leads. The summary needs to be sent out every day at 9AM

 

 YOUR SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

+ You meet the student requirements to work under the 600 hours arrangement

+ Ability to analyse and summarise information from (online) media

+ Good knowledge of Dutch or French, with sound English writing skills

+ You are very punctual and reliable to meet deadlines

+ You are a team-player but can work independently

+ You’re passionate about media, both traditional as new, social media and demonstrate an outside-in mindset
