Girish Huria Joins Ketchum Sampark as President

MUMBAI, Nov. 15, 2017 – Leading global communications firm Ketchum has appointed Girish Huria as President of Ketchum Sampark, one of India’s leading public relations and communications consultancies. Huria joins Ketchum Sampark from eBay India, where he served as Head of Corporate Communications. He will report to N.S. Rajan, Global Partner of Ketchum and Managing Director of Ketchum Sampark.

In September, Huria was named to Reputation Today’s 2017 Top 100 Communicators in India.

Huria brings nearly two decades of local-market experience and has served as communications counselor on both the agency and client side. He has experience in the vibrant and growing sectors of automotive, financial services, insurance, technology, healthcare and fast moving consumer goods. Prior to his stint at eBay, Huria served as chief operating officer at Avian Media Private Limited, an independent communication firm, where he was responsible for leading business acquisitions, client service and agency strategy. Prior to Avian, Huria served as managing partner at Genesis Burson-Marsteller.
