With no major distributor or brick and mortar retailer, Marco Marco is considered a niche start-up fashion brand, relying on e-commerce sales and unconventional marketing to promote its collections of underwear, swimwear and other apparel. When founder Marco Morante wanted to make a bold statement about transgender equality, he turned to PR for an idea to position his brand as a voice for social change and inclusivity. Working with Marco, our Harrison & Shriftman team casted a bright spotlight on the beauty of the transgender body to the world by staging the first ALL-TRANSGENDER runway fashion show during New York Fashion Week
