One London Newsletter: December 2020
Thank you. These are the two words I have used most frequently in 2020. Whilst overall it has been a challenging, often terrible, year – I am so thankful for what I have. I am grateful to all of my colleagues at Ketchum in the UK. I’ve been in awe at their resilience, dedication, and optimism in the face of huge pressure and stress. I’m grateful to our partners like Creative Equals, BME PR Pros, Ambitious about Autism, Future Frontiers, and many other who have constantly reminded us what matters most. But above all, I am grateful for you, our clients. Your partnership, commitment and confidence in Ketchum has been humbling, rewarding, and I am immensely proud of the innovation and work we have produced together. Over the holiday season take the time to reflect on who and what you are thankful for, and tell them.

Mastercard Index of Women Entrepreneurs
Mastercard have released their fourth insightful and informative Index of Women Entrepreneurs report for 2020. Across the world, we’re losing $172 trillion a year solely due to differences in lifetime earnings between men and women. And that’s only going to be exacerbated following the Covid-19 crisis, where women in business were disproportionately negatively impacted. Against this context, the Mastercard Index of Women’s Entrepreneurs 2020, shines a hugely valuable spotlight on the factors holding women back and a blueprint for progression. To make the report accessible and impactful, we’ve been working hard with Mastercard to bring MIWE findings to life through a digital first campaign, leveraging compelling insights to underpin a series of engaging videos sharing personal observations from female business leaders, artful infographics and social assets, and a stimulating report style.
