Ketchum’s Jo-ann Robertson Named in Leadership Power List

Jo-ann Robertson, chief executive of global markets at Ketchum, has been recognised in the Women in Leadership Power List 2025.
The Women in Leadership Power List, published by PRWeek sister title Management Today, is now in its second edition. The celebration of female leadership aims to “recognise high-achievers” who have “reached the top of their organisations and industries” and have had a “remarkable impact on their respective fields”.
The 2025 list comprises 20 female leaders, including Patricia Cobian, chief financial officer at Virgin Media O2; Clara Govier, managing director at the People’s Postcode Lottery; and Michelle Mitchell, chief executive of Cancer Research UK. It was judged by a panel of female leaders, including former winners.
Robertson (pictured) began her career as a political activist and TV reporter. She worked at Weber Shandwick for more than eight years before joining Ketchum in September 2011 as managing director of UK corporate and public affairs.
She was named partner in 2013 and promoted to chief executive of its UK operations in 2017.
Today, Robertson is chief executive of global markets at the Omnicom agency, responsible for the UK, Germany, Brazil, Canada, Belgium and Austria.
In further evidence of her growing influence, in 2023, Robertson was named president of the PR jury at the Cannes Lions Festival. Last year, she chaired the festival’s Young PR Lions, which offers a platform for young PR professionals to demonstrate creativity.
