To launch Wendy’s new Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger, Wendy’s partnered with crooner Nick Lachey on an integrated program to celebrate America’s love for the product, that included an NYC PR event, digital live streaming, original music video content, and social media. Using the most creative and love-filled social media posts from Wendy’s fans, Nick serenaded New York City with Pretzel Love Songs at an exclusive media event helping launch the PR campaign that resulted in over 1.5 billion media impressions. Industry experts have said the Pretzel Bacon Cheeseburger is one of the most popular sandwiches in Wendy’s history - having sold millions of these tasty cheeseburgers.
