Whirlpool, DigitasLBi and Ketchum Win Creative Data Grand Prix at 2017 Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity

CANNES, France, June 21, 2017 – Leading communications consultancy Ketchum, in partnership with global marketing and technology agency DigitasLBi, won the Grand Prix for Creative Data for its work on Whirlpool’s “Care Counts” program last night at the 64th annual Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity in Cannes, France. Ketchum also won an additional three Cyber Lions for its work on behalf of clients. This brings the firm’s total 2017 Lions to 26 – one Grand Prix, eight Gold Lions, nine Silver Lions and eight Bronze Lions.

In addition, Ketchum (as part of MMK+) won two Gold Promo & Activation Lions, one Bronze Entertainment Lion, one Bronze Film Lion, as well as one Gold and two Silver Health & Wellness Lions.

Ketchum and its clients won 18 Lions earlier in the week, with 11 PR Lions, four Health & Wellness Lions and three Promo & Activation Lions.

The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity was established in 1954 and is generally viewed as the pinnacle of the annual awards season for the global communications industry.

In 2009, Ketchum was honored with one of the first ever PR Lions for its “Häagen-Dazs Loves Honey Bees” campaign.
