LONDON, 02 December, 2016 – Ketchum, a leading global public relations firm, won three major accolades at the ICCO Global Awards in London last night. Rob Flaherty was named PR Leader of the Year, Ketchum was named Regional Network of the Year (Americas), and the firm was presented with an award for its client work on the Philips Future Health Index, which it partnered on with FleishmanHillard Fishburn

Rob Flaherty, senior partner, CEO and president, said, “The ICCO Awards are particularly prestigious because they judge the impact of PR on a truly global stage.  Each one of the trophies we picked up tonight represents a mountain of work, ideas, creativity and partnership. At the same time, to be recognized at this level you have to be at the cutting edge of areas like research, digital, AI, VR, influencer relations and content marketing – so it’s very satisfying to see our teamwork and innovation is amongst the best around.”

“On a personal note, I feel incredibly proud to be recognized by my peers, especially in such a competitive category.  It’s an honor to be part of such a great industry going from strength to strength.”

Ketchum won in the following categories:

PR Leader of the Year
Rob Flaherty, Chairman and CEO, Ketchum

Regional Network of the Year – AMERICAS

World’s Best PR Campaigns – Healthcare
Future Health Index
Ketchum Research & FleishmanHillard Fishburn

The ICCO Awards are judged by an elite panel of top international PR practitioners who consider the excellence and effectiveness of PR work from across the world. They specifically focus on proven impact.

These wins follow a number of high honors bestowed to Ketchum in recent months. Earlier this year, Ketchum and Caritas International won a Bronze PR Lion with BBDO Group Germany at The Cannes Lions International Festival of Creativity, bringing Ketchum’s total Cannes Lions to nineteen.  Elsewhere Ketchum picked up four PRWeek Global Awards including Global Campaign of the Year, and three Global SABRE Awards. Regional highlights include Seven Silver Anvils at a ceremony organized by the Public Relations Society of America and three EMEA SABRE Awards.  On top of that, this year has seen Ray Kotcher inducted into the Arthur W. Page Society Hall of Fame and David Drobis inducted into the PRWeek Hall of Fame.
