Milan, May 26, 2017 – Yesterday was an exciting evening full of surprises and gratification for the "Young Lions" of Ketchum. Leading the “PR Specialist” pack at the Young Lions Competition, held in occasion of the 2017 International Festival of Creativity in Cannes, were Noemi Fulli and Giacomo Galli, rising talents of the leading integrated communication agency selected as the best creative couple in Italy, who will move to the global finals round and compete among other teams from across the world for the winning prize. In second place, another talented couple of young PR specialists from Ketchum, Angelina Zoner and Luca Colombo, who also joined in on the celebration during the Italian awards ceremony in Milan. Ketchum’s Young Lions have "devoured" a remarkably challenging brief, developing project guidelines for an integrated PR campaign for ACI Services, based on an idea targeting and engaging Millennials from a storytelling perspective. The teams had two days to tackle the brief and create two truly “break though” proposals.

Noemi and Giacomo’s winning project, "Viaggi LoquACI" demonstrated an integrated multichannel strategy to meet the requirements of the brief. The presentation was created with the aim of simulating a real conversation on WhatsApp between two imaginary characters that perfectly embody the reference target. The first "auto-pooling" service, based on this "matching," that makes it easy for people to get to know each other and share common passions and organize trips together.

The second-ranked project, "ACI Moving Innovation" proposed an innovative network of services with a look at the future of mobility, starting from a VR/AR traveling exhibition called, "The New Moving”, to take place in three Italian cities.

“I am really excited and proud of our Young Lions, who have demonstrated in this important competition their extraordinary talent and determination. I witnessed firsthand the commitment, passion and energy devoted to the preparation of their projects and I am confident this victory will give them the pride and determination they need to conquer their next adventure in Cannes. Ketchum Italy has always believed and invested in young talent, proudly carrying out the culture, traditions and values of its worldwide brand. For Ketchum, supporting the creative energy and innovative capacity of the younger generation not only helps them to develop their own potential, but also gives them a new boost in the agency world,” said Andrea Cornelli, CEO of Ketchum Italy.
