For our Strategic Planning & Insight team, we are looking for a Research & Analytics expert that is culturally curious and as deeply passionate about understanding what matters to people as we are. You are driven to go beyond the ‘what’ and uncover the ‘why’ – translating that into actionable insights for clients to act on. 


You will deliver thoughtful research and analytics to support the development of communication campaigns and strategic counsel to clients based on data & insights. Your priority will be managing research end-to-end; from survey design, desk research, and data processing to reporting and data visualisation. You’ll be responsible for audience profiling, white space analysis, socio-cultural trend analysis and ROI campaign measurement. You will partner with our Strategic Planning & Insight Director in building the research capabilities of the agency in Brussels and collaborate with colleagues in data & analytics across Ketchum’s global network.  


+ Advise clients on the best research approach for provided briefing 

+ Segment and profile target audiences, based on research, data & analytics 

+ Extract insights and provide recommendations based on media and conversation analysis, whitespace and socio-cultural analysis 

+ Watch and analyse trends, and deliver market intelligence 

+ Oversee and manage all aspects of research projects – from the day-to-day work, to client presentations, management of proprietary tools and third-party software, research budget and vendor coordination 

+ Develop frameworks for campaign ROI measurement 

+ Stay aware of emerging research trends and tools, provide recommendations, inspiration and a POV to internal and external audiences 


+ 3-5 years prior experience in a research or data analytics function 

+ Intellectually curious and motivated by complex and varied assignments 

+ Ability to understand both Belgian and international client needs 

+ A team mentality and desire to collaborate with co-workers across multiple disciplines 

+ Dutch or French native, with English fluency
