Stromberg Consulting Opens London Office and Appoints New Managing Director
New York, May 8, 2007 - Ketchum announced today the opening of the first European office for its wholly owned management consultancy, Stromberg Consulting. Based in London, U.K., the expansion will enable Stromberg to share its proven approach to organizational change management and internal communications with the European market. Victoria Brown will lead the consultancy's London practice while Stromberg further enhances its U.S. leadership through the appointment of Ken Boughrum as Managing Director.
"As in all other Stromberg offices, the London branch will be staffed with seasoned, tenured consultants who bring a diverse range of experience to each new client engagement. MBAs, organizational psychologists and HR specialists work hand in hand to deliver innovative solutions to pressing business challenges," said Dan Madia, General Manager of Stromberg Consulting.
Brown, a U.K. native who was previously with Stromberg in New York, has served global clients in both London and the U.S. and is already working with a number of Ketchum London clients, including FedEx and Baxter Pharmaceuticals, among others.
"We’re eager to support Stromberg Consulting with this global growth initiative as well as partner together to provide our clients with integrated internal and external communications," said David Gallagher, CEO of Ketchum London.
As Managing Director, Boughrum, who has been with Stromberg in Atlanta since 2001, will be responsible for the strategic direction of the firm, in addition to his client management responsibilities. He has served clients in a variety of industries, including FedEx, JPMorgan Chase and Wyeth Pharmaceuticals, among others.
Founded in 1977, Stromberg Consulting was acquired by Ketchum in 2001. The firm serves Ketchum clients as well as its own with its proven approach to strategic communications. In addition to London, Stromberg Consulting currently maintains operations in Atlanta, Los Angeles and New York.
