Ketchum Public Relations Work Receives Six Silver Anvils

New York, June 15, 2007 - Last evening, Ketchum, a leading global public relations agency, and its clients were honored with six Silver Anvil Awards at the annual Public Relations Society of America (PRSA) ceremony, which recognizes the best in strategic public relations planning and execution. In addition, Ketchum was honored with one Award of Excellence, which is presented to finalists judged to be of Silver Anvil quality but who are not awarded a Silver Anvil.
“The Silver Anvils represent one of the highest and most respected levels of honor and achievement within the PR industry,” said Raymond L. Kotcher, Ketchum Senior Partner and Chief Executive Officer. “I take pride in Ketchum’s strategic and creative work. The work, along with the strong relationships we build with our clients, make this level of industry recognition possible,” he added.
With these awards, Ketchum has won a total of 102 Silver Anvils – more than any other public relations agency. The Silver Anvils have been awarded since 1946 and consistently recognize outstanding work that meets the highest standards of all phases of the public relations process, including research, planning, execution and evaluation. The six 2007 Silver Anvils add to Ketchum’s roster of award wins for the year.
