As Midwest Director, Bill Zucker leads a team that brings the best of Ketchum’s global capabilities and thinking to clients across the central part of the United States.
Ketchum Midwest serves clients in all spaces, with specialties in Brand Marketing, Food and Agriculture, Corporate Reputation and Integrated Media.
An expert in issues management and reputation, Bill has worked significantly in food and agriculture in both the corporate and commodities space. He currently advises publicly traded food manufacturers and is part of Ketchum's teams working with the U.S. Farmers and Ranchers Alliance (USFRA) and National Cattlemen’s Beef Association.
In the corporate space, Bill has advised CEOs on their personal and corporate reputations and coached them through high profile media interviews and issues. Bill has managed crises in food safety, product liability, and public accidents and tragedies. He was named PR News Crisis Communicator of the Year in 2005.
Bill’s passion for public relations was born out of a 15-year career as a journalist, working as a reporter and newsroom executive in television and radio. As Executive Producer at WBBM-TV he launched the CBS station’s first morning news broadcast. As a producer at WABC-TV he was honored with an Emmy award for the documentary “Return to Vietnam.”
A native of Milwaukee, Bill graduated from the University of Wisconsin-Madison with degrees in Political Science and Journalism and remains obsessed with the Packers, Brewers and Badgers. A father of two and husband of one, Bill and family live in Illinois.
