In one of the largest mergers to take place in the public relations industry, Ketchum and Pleon, Europe’s largest strategic communications consultancy, announced in June 2009 they would combine their operations. The merger has created one of the largest, most geographically diverse communications consultancies in the world, and by far the largest communications consultancy in Europe, augmenting Pleon’s position as the established European market leader. The combined agency has more than 2,000 employees in owned operations and now operates in more than 65 countries with over 100 owned and affiliated offices worldwide.
