League of American Communications Professionals Honors Ketchum Pleon Clients for Three Campaigns

Düsseldorf, Jan. 14, 2010 - The League of American Communications Professionals (LACP) recognized Ketchum Pleon clients and teams with three 2009 Magellan Awards.
 
Siemens and Ketchum Pleon won the Platinum Award for the corporate video "Values -- We Say It, We Mean It," ranked 26 of the Top 50 Communications Campaigns of 2009. The video was part of a global Siemens employee engagement program with the objective to familiarize managers and employees worldwide with the reformulated Siemens values.
 
A Gold Award was given to Siemens for "We Stand For Our Values,” ranked 34. This global internal communications program was designed to reconnect employees with the core values of Siemens and was also supported by Ketchum Pleon. With the program, Siemens implemented a multidimensional and multichannel engagement program for managers and employees with the objective to create awareness for the reformulated values and enhance dialogue across the organization.
 
Bosch Power Tools "Cordless Screwdriver Race 2009" campaign was honored with a Bronze Award, with a ranking of 31. Ketchum Pleon and Hildesheim University of Applied Sciences and Arts (HAWK) successfully planned and coordinated a media relations program prior to the event, which was sponsored by Bosch Power Tools. As a result, the media coverage of the Cordless Screwdriver Race event was immense and has significantly increased Bosch Power Tools PSR range sales with regard to the small budget of the campaign.
