New York and Las Vegas, May 13, 2009 – Ketchum, a leading global public relations firm, won more Clio Awards than any other PR firm in the global advertising competition’s first-ever strategic communications and public relations award category. Ketchum and its clients were honored with one Gold, two Silver and one Bronze Clio during the ceremony in Las Vegas last night. Also last evening, Ketchum and IKEA were honored with the Platinum SABRE Award at the Holmes Group’s North American SABRE Awards for Best Campaign of the Year, “Man Lives in IKEA.” The campaign had received the PRWeek Campaign of the Year Award earlier this year, making it one of the industry’s most celebrated campaigns this awards season.
In addition to winning the top SABRE Award for the second year in a row, Ketchum took home four Gold SABREs, two Silver SABREs and a Bronze SABRE for outstanding client work. Also at the event, Ketchum word-of-mouth agency Zócalo Group was named New Media Agency of the Year.
